About
Fiat Development was founded by Bill Maloney in 2024, leveraging over 20 years of professional Catholic fundraising experience. Bill's career in fundraising began in 2003 with the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, where he served as the Associate Director of Stewardship and Development. After three years, he transitioned to capital campaign fundraising, assisting parishes, schools, and dioceses.
Bill returned to the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas in 2020 as Director of Stewardship and Development and the Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas. During that time, he came to the realization that his true passion was assisting parishes and schools reach their goals.
Bill's interest in fundraising dates back to his high school days when his baseball coach became the Director of Development for his school. This early exposure to fundraising left a lasting impression. When Bill's oldest child started school, he became actively involved in school fundraising activities, leading to roles on the school, finance, and parish councils. While serving on the finance council, Bill was asked to chair the parish capital campaign to renovate the church and parish hall. This experience propelled his career in fundraising into high gear.
Bill will personally be involved in all of Fiat Development’s campaigns. Thus, Fiat’s clients will have unmatched hands-on counsel.
